Will we ever have that?   my life is complete with the new iSMEStorage iPad app, but my Motorla Droidx is lacking the fundamental feature.  Thanks!

This is pretty close to completion. We posted a blog entry about this recently.

I am also waiting for the Android app. My Droid X will be complete when this is available.

Thanks.

Can you access the file from the website ? Do you continually get this exception ?

I'm not seeing an issue downloading MP3 files on my Android device but if there is a bug then lets work this through and we'll fix it in 1.2

I don't see the issue on the device I am using. I've just tested on a HTC Wildfire and HTC Desire. You can see a video of accessing MP3's and Doc's here. Perhaps there is something device specific. You let me know your device we will do some testing against that also.

I'm using the Motorola Droid X. I have no problem accessing files from your SME website using the file manager. I rebooted and now after choosing Files on Clouds, i choose My Documents and it doesn't show a .doc file i have. I go into My Music and the options are View in browser, Download and Download and View. When i choose Download and View, the option that comes up is Browser. I was able to view a picture file .png but not sure how i could move it to the memory card unless when i choose download it already goes to the SD card?

The only reason you would not see a file is if you uploaded direct to the underlying cloud and you had not refreshed the meta data / view from SMEStorage. The App and the site both use the same API. If you saw other files you would see all.

When you download and view it already gets downloaded to your SD card and  you should be able to see it from the local file menu in the App. Any applications opened when you choose download and view are taken from the existing associations that you have set for files on the device. To check or change file extensions you can install the free Astro File Manager.

I'll see if I can get hold of a Motorola Droid X just to check if there is anything device specific for this device
