Due to the decision of Cannonical to shutter Ubuntu One I have ended up here in a round about way. I had the desktop client for Dropbox installed and had been sending my backups there, but not wanting to use all available space for back up, I started searching for a way to manage my other cloud accounts on Linux.  Enter SME as One Drive, Box, Google Drive offer no desktop clients native to Linux. The issue I am running into though is when I try to sign in and mount the SME folder created in my home directory using SME client with HTTPS, it returns a error of:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Screenshot from 2014-04-08 13:49:43.png                                                                                                                                                             Signing in using standard HTTP is met with success every time. Could someone possibly explain why this is happening?

In repository of Ubuntu 12.04 is the library libwww-perl with a bug.
SME use this library.
This bug related only to HTTPS.
So, if you will be use HTTP then it will be work correctly.

Thank you for the explanation Igor. At least I know it isn't something I have misconfigured. Do you know if there is a CVE on the bug?
