Hi,
I have installed the Joomla File Directory Plug-In (This plug-in give a rich File Explorer and file store for your site. ) on my Joomla site, to enable users to upload and download files from Google Docs.
All the settings are correct (I have saved and tested in Joomla administrator), and I have set up a menu-item for the registered users.
When I click on the menu-item i get the following error message:
Quote:
Warning: require_once(/home/www/imcculand.dk/administrator/components/com_smestorage/lib/cache.class.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/imcculand.dk/components/com_smestorage/smestorage.php on line 19

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/www/imcculand.dk/administrator/components/com_smestorage/lib/cache.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /home/www/imcculand.dk/components/com_smestorage/smestorage.php on line 19

If I install the Joomla File Share Plug-In (This plug-in will enable you to share your cloud files on your Joomla site.) I dont get the same error, the
plugin works great. ...( i have tried both the version on the smestorage.com (1.1) site and on http://www.gelembjuk.com/ (1.2).

Line 19 in smestorage.php (in the filemanager component) is exactly the same as line 38 in smestorage.php (file share component).

 line 19 (and 38) is
Code:
require_once( JPATH_COMPONENT_ADMINISTRATOR.DS.'lib'.DS.'cache.class.php' );

I have tried enabeling and disabeling the cache, system cache plugin and clearing the cache with no result.

Please help,

Can you please answer the following questions  to help us pin point your problem.

What Joomla version are using?
What Operating System are you using (windows or Linux)?
Did you download the latest version? You should download it from http://www.smestorage.com/?p=static&page=clients_and_tools

Hi.
I have tried installing it on a fresh joomla install on my server, and it works just fine (so did the component from your site)... I havnt tried it on the site I need it on yet.

But, I thought the component would "This plug-in give a rich File Explorer and file store for your site. ".

I had hoped the component would enable my users to upload files to the cloud as well as download them.

What is the difference between the two Joomla clients on your client list? http://www.smestorage.com/?p=static&page=clients_and_tools
