The provided package does not include the sync center and the explorer does it? Only desktop and menu entries are provided or am I missing something? This is not clear from the information on http://storagemadeeasy.com/LinuxDrive/

How you installed it?

First at all try to execute this commands (from folder where you have a file storagemadeeasy_4.1.0.deb):
Code:
sudo dpkg --remove storagemadeeasy
sudo dpkg -i storagemadeeasy_4.1.0.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

If it don't resolve problem then execute this commands and show output (all that will be in terminal):
Code:
sudo dpkg --remove storagemadeeasy
sudo dpkg -i storagemadeeasy_4.1.0.deb

Thank you! Now I got it correctly installed. Not that I understand why though. There were no missing dependencies before. The only difference is that I previously installed it using the gui interface and now I executed dpkg at the command line.

I would appreciate if you could explain for me the difference.

Thank you

It should be no difference between the install using GUI and dpkg.
GUI not always shows an error message (if error happened).
dpkg always shows an error message and logs of the install.

Usually GUI software managers don't save logs of the install. Without logs will be impossible to say why it failed.
