I am using an imac with sme ver 1.3.  My issue is that a file picasa.ini continues to causes a pop up with a request for action.  The problem is it will not allow me to delete the file.  I only allows me to stop sync for a time,   but the it comes back again.  I have tried a couple of things. Initially it was on amazon cs personal account so i removed it and now trying to sync on sme storage cloud.  The same exact popup is happening.  I have stopped th sync process for now.  Any suggests as to what I could try next?

Hi, Yes, we are aware of this issue. It will be resolved in a new build in which you can control the popup and also exempt certain files. We hope to have this released either over the weekend or Monday.

is there any news on this?
I have '.filename' format hidden files on my webdav share  that I would like to exclude from the sync.

We've been working on a build to exclude hidden files. The issue is that some Clouds won't allow them to be uploaded which is what the problem is. If you email us at Support AT SMEStorage.com we'll give you acces to a build in which we already implemented this.

I have installed the new version and the same popup continues. Installed ver 1.36.  Admin,  should email support to get access to another build that you are speaking about?  My issues is that the hidden file is on my personal amazon cloud drive and I am not able to delete it.  Thanks in advance.

When the popup comes up, just choose 'merge files'. It should not be destructive unless you have hidden files with the same name locally and on the cloud. After the initial sync the hidden files will be downloaded (synced) to your desktop but you will not necessarily see them (as they are hidden files).
Or if this is not desirable, you can choose to "ignore hidden files" on the Advanced Preferences panel.
