Version 3 of the Linux Cloud Drive beta is currently available as a Debian package. You can download this from our Labs page. The third beta fixes an issue when double clicking on a file to launch it, editing it i whatever the associated editor is and then saving it back from the editor. An error about permissions was seen in beta 2 and this is now fixed.

Hi, we've tested this and it works fine. see the video here.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you did not define a directory as a mount point.

Kind Regards,

Support

I am evaluating SME storage.  Potentially for White Label.

For my bespoke solution, I require the Linux clients / interfaces in .tar.bz2 format

Although based on on Ubuntu 10.04, the Linux base OS that I use does not include a software package manager/installer and is locked down in many areas with the exception of a custom partition that I can write to.

In this custom partition I can unpack tar.bz2 applications and launch them from their using a command line.

Are you able to provide me a tar. bz2 package (or give me an idea where i can create one)?
