I'm looking for a free WebDav Provider that I can use with SMEStorage. I'd like at least 1 GB of free files - could you suggest any ?

You could use either:
Box.net. Webdav access is available through https://www.box.net/dav but we also support Box.net directly.
mydrive.ch - Fully WebDav compliant and has 2GB of free storage. The WebDav url is https://webdav.mydrive.ch.
Alternatively you could event host your own using the Apache mod_dav module (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_dav.html).
