smemount can't locate Fuse.pm arch linux
Thank you, I already solved using cpan
smemount can't locate Fuse.pm arch linux
this is what happens after installing using a deb package in arch linux

#smemount

Can't locate Fuse.pm in @INC (you may need to install the Fuse module) (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/share/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/core_perl /usr/share/perl5/core_perl .) at /usr/bin/smemount line 17.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/smemount line 17.

Perl and fuse are already installed

Any ideas?
Add provider bitcasa
Could you add the provider Bitcasa (bitcasa.com) to the list of available providers?

Thanks
Virtual Drive mounted on Linux with smemount is too slow
Hello,

I installed the SME products on Linux Fedora 19 and set a folder to the virtual drive mount using the smemount client. The thing s when I do a query on that virtual drive, as easy as ls or dir it takes nearly a minute to get the info and it becomes eternal when I try to copy or move a file or just 100mB. I guess this could happen because I set synchronization in real time for my providers but it is anormal to take so long in just to list the file, there is any solution or improvement I could do for change that, or just wait because is still in beta phase? And just to note, it is not a problem with my ADSL connetion, it is enough fast.

Thanks

admin wrote: Why can't you use the SME Linux Sync App to achieve this ? (rather than the mounted drive)

I can, but I have to force it to run manually or create an script specifically to run the application every few time. Maybe I didnt see it, there is any option to keep the SME Sync running always in background and check the changes in files every few seconds?

I see the problem, now I understand why always it has to be in an empty folder.

So I was thinking and my real problem is that what I want is to have something in local and SME's Client synchronizes it with what I have in each server likes dropbox client, so you can mark this as solved but should be a great idea to create another SME client to syncronize a local folder for each provider (one folder per provider) similar to what dropbox, drive and skydrive have. Because now with the client you provide you have to mount always at the start with Linux (in Windows it does automatically and I can program it to the start on Linux) but the point is that I dont have always an internet connection and in that way I need always conecttion to your server to see the files and need something always in local to work, that's why I am suggestion a new kind of client. What you have now is fine but looks like is think only for company purposes and not for individual users.

Anyway thanks for your help.

This is not solved, I want to mount it on a non empty folder because I am sharing the folder between 2 systems and one of them is not using the SME client. trying with smemount program by command line I saw there is an option --ao for other users and --ct for cache time, why not add other option --ne for non empty folder when calling internally to fuse program, it will add the option "-o nonempty" to the line calling fuse allowing me to mount in that point.

My only doubt is that I don know what will happen when the local folder and the old folder try to mix.
